Reading Option 1

I am doing my first reading note on a picture that I took today in a slightly shaded spot while figuring out how to use the aperture setting and exposure on my camera. I set my aperture to 3.5 while my shutter speed was at 1/2000. With my aperture set to almost the lowest setting, 3.5 being the lowest, I used as much natural light as there was to capture the dark color of the flower. Today we had a lot of sun, so this made it easy for me to open up my aperture and allow the sunlight to give me all the light I needed. Also with the low aperture, I was able to solely focus on the flower while making everything in the background blurry.
