| For this weeks reading option I chose to pick one of my sunrise pictures that dealt with back-lighting. I captured this shot of Spencer one morning when we went to the top of the switchbacks for the sunrise. For this photograph I first focused on the horizon to the right of Spencer, as it was brighter, I then brought the focus back to Spencer and captured the photograph. My ISO was at 100, my shutter speed was at 1/160, and my F-stop was at 8. These settings allowed me to capture the colors of the sunrise and the buildings below, but make Spencer a dark silhouette. |
